健康 Information Management, B.S.
健康 information management (HIM) is the practice of managing medical information that is vital to providing quality patient care. HIM organizes health data by ensuring its quality, accuracy, accessibility, security. There are many important skills needed for a career in HIM, including analytical skills, attention to detail, clear communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, technological and leadership skills.
This program requires a secondary admission process.Program Overview
Secondary application and admission are required. Once admitted to the HIM program students will complete five semesters of coursework. It is a hybrid program and begins in the fall semester each year. 学生 pursuing this degree will also complete a minor in health care information systems through the College of Computing.
Student applications for placement in the fall cohort are due by March 1 every year. Applications are available online at 博天堂官方.edu/him/.

- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Completion of 45 semester hours, which includes current enrollment, verified by transcript
- No grade less than a C in 百时美施贵宝 250, 百时美施贵宝 251, 已经有100年
